My New Addiction!

Not quite as bad as it sounds...I LOVE editing pictures! Taking pictures is great, but I'm actually getting pretty good at the whole editing deal. Check 'em out!

Dustin & Michael...I blew this one up to an 8 x 10 & had it framed for Dustin's Father's Day gift. He really enjoyed it...and such a sweet memory.

Michael & Mommy...one of the few pictures we have! I'm always BEHIND the camera!

The Joys of Being a Woman...

My younger sister decided to come and spend the night with me Wednesday because I was having a rough day and Dustin was out of town for work. Michael spent most of the night with his Nana and Papaw at VBS that night, then came home and was fed, bathed, and alseep within an hour. Although I had a wonderful time talking and spending time with her, and playing with Michael while getting him back in a normal routine, I was still a little sad. (No big deal, I was just in a mood). So, Leslie (my sis), had this brilliant idea..."Sissy, let me WAX your eyebrows?". WHAT?! Yes, that's where you rub some HOT STICKY stuff on your skin and then RIP it off!!! Are you kidding me?! How did she think this would make me feel any better? Well, For whatever reason, something in me decided to give it a try. HA! It was incredibly painful, but suprizingly enough, it did make me laugh! Somehow, I felt a little better, (plus my eyebrows looked great..I mean, besides all the redness). Anyways, I thought I'd let everyone in on a little secret. If your having a bad day, something about having someone else rip tiny hairs out of you face can make you feel better! LOL!!! P.S. She also talked my little brother (almost 16 years old) into getting his waxed a couple of weeks ago! That's a whole to ballgame!

EASY RECIPE THURSDAY IS BACK!

If you haven't seen Terri's blog since the wonderful invention of EASY RECIPE THURSDAYS, you must go to www.lifewithtlc.blogspot.com to check out some amazing and EASY recipes. I was out sick last Thursday, so this week I decided to add one of my favorite recipes...Chicken and Dumplings!

Ingredients:

2 skinless boneless chicken breast
1 can of regular Pillsbury biscuits (uncooked)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Boil chicken approx. 45 minutes or until cooked through and tender.
2. Remove chicken from water (do not disregard water) and shred.
3. Place shredded chicken back in water and return to a rapid boil (allow water to boil down some).
4. Divide pre-cut biscuit dough in half (or thirds if you like smaller dumplings) and drop into boiling water.
5. After all dumplings are in, boil approx. 10 minutes, uncovered until dough is cooked through.

Remove, eat and enjoy! Serves 4. Best with mashed potatoes and biscuits!

GREAT WEBSITE...

I'm just popping in to leave a quick note on this GREAT website I found this morning. Actually, a friend of mine uses it and I finally had to ask where she did all of her editing because the pictures come out GREAT! It's a free site, you don't even have to register. I'm just getting started, so I don't have a lot done. But...here are the pictures I did this morning. The web address is www.picnik.com.
